A 112 mm pocket comb with both coarse and fine teeth. Use the wider side to open and detangle the beard, then the fine side to finish and shape it.

Why the saw cut matters

The kerf between individually cut teeth gives loose skin, dander, dust and debris somewhere to move as the comb passes through the beard. You're not just lining the hairs up; you're mechanically combing material out of them.

G.B. Kent & Sons PLC — By Appointment to His Majesty The King

MAKING GROOMING TOOLS SINCE 1777.

There aren’t many companies that can measure their history in centuries. Kent can.

G.B. Kent & Sons was founded in England in 1777 and has been making brushes and grooming tools ever since. Nearly 250 years of manufacturing matters—not because old automatically means good, but because knowledge accumulates when generations keep making the same kind of thing.

Kent’s handmade combs are cut from sheets of cellulose acetate rather than simply injection-moulded. The teeth are individually saw-cut and polished to leave smooth, rounded surfaces without the mould seams found on inexpensive mass-produced combs.

Their brushes carry the same emphasis on materials, construction and purpose. They’re grooming tools designed to be used every day and built by a company that was making them long before beard care became an industry.

Kent has supplied British Royal households across nine consecutive sovereign reigns and remains a Royal Warrant holder today.

Since 1777. Still making the real thing.
