These combs weren’t stamped out by a factory. They were made one at a time by Jeremy Buda of Olde Capital Woodworks in New York State—hand-cut, hand-carved and hand-sanded from real wood.

That’s worth saying because there aren’t any more coming.

Olde Capital Woodworks no longer produces these combs. What Beardsman has on the shelf is the remaining inventory from Jeremy’s work. This isn’t a product we’re waiting to restock. This is the world supply.

Every piece carries the things mass production usually tries to eliminate: variations in grain, color, shape and the small evidence of the hands that made it. That’s precisely the point. They’re functional pieces of woodcraft, built to be used rather than put behind glass.

When they’re gone, they’re gone.

Each comb was made by hand, shaped and finished individually rather than mass-produced.
What wood is this comb made from?

The wood species is identified on the selected product or variant. Natural grain and color variation are part of the material.
How should I care for a wood comb?

Keep it dry, avoid prolonged soaking and wipe it clean. An occasional light application of a suitable wood-safe oil can refresh the finish.
Will more be made?

No. Olde Capital Woodwork is no longer producing these combs. The inventory shown is the remaining world supply available through Beardsman.
