Comb type and loading mechanisms
Closed Comb has a continuous safety bar. Open Comb has separate teeth and channels. Both current comb models use a three-piece head.
Butterfly describes the opening mechanism: the doors open using a collar near the head, without separating the head into pieces.
How to load the razor
Turn the collar near the head to open the doors. Set in a standard double-edge blade, then turn the collar to close them securely. This is a top-action collar, not a twist knob at the butt end.

Compatible with standard double-edge razor blades.
Safety Razor care
Rinse away lather and let the razor dry. You can loosen or open the head after use if you prefer. Clean occasional soap buildup with mild soap and a soft brush.
