Closed Comb has a continuous safety bar. Open Comb has separate teeth and channels. Both current comb models use a three-piece head.
Butterfly describes the opening mechanism: the doors open using a collar near the head, without separating the head into pieces.
Unscrew the handle and lift off the top cap. Place a standard double-edge blade over the posts, set the guard back in place and tighten the handle while holding the head by its short sides. Check that the blade sits evenly on both sides.
Compatible with standard double-edge razor blades.
Rinse away lather and let the razor dry. You can loosen or open the head after use if you prefer. Clean occasional soap buildup with mild soap and a soft brush.
