About the Shave Soap
Canned foam is ready when it leaves the can. Shave soap lets you build the lather with a brush and control the water yourself. Slickness means the blade can glide; cushion is the body of the lather between the razor and your skin. You want both, without a dry or airy foam.
Shave Soap ingredients
Palm oil, coconut oil, vegetable glycerin, water, sodium hydroxide, bentonite clay, oat protein, wheat protein, Fragrance (Parfum).
How to use Shave Soap
Wet a shave brush, shake off the excess and swirl it over the soap until the bristles pick up a little. Work the brush on your face or in a bowl. Add water a few drops at a time until the lather looks smooth and feels slick. If it turns thin, load a little more soap.
In the shave
Apply the lather to wet skin. Shave with light pressure and short strokes, then rinse.
How long does a tin last?
A 2 oz tin can last several weeks with a light load. The actual number of shaves depends on how often you shave, your brush and how much soap you load. Start small; add more when you need it.
